To be honest this is one of the worst artbooks I've ever used haha. The paper is so thin that pencil sketches on different sides can be seen through. I could probably use it as tracing paper.

My sketchbooks look better than these AFTER I use them! Book #1: Greasy fingerprints and streaks where someone wrote using the book as a pad or pad. Book #2: Folded Cover! Book #3: Blurred Edges.

I am a practicing architect. I have a lot of meetings in conference rooms, dirty workshops or on site. I have to keep notes and sketches in the same place so I can refer to them later. I always have to have paper and a pen with me. This album is the perfect combination of all of that. The correct size is about 8" x 10" as I want something big enough for a detailed drawing on the page but not too big that it becomes unwieldy. Medium weight paper and a strong but flexible cover work for me. Great

I really like this album as it's easy to take anywhere with minimal tools. I use it for drawing and I hope to be able to fit most of my drawings into a book in 2017. This is part of my plan to paint more often, more easily and spontaneously. For that, this book is GREAT. I agree that there are MUCH better magazines out there: check out Apica if writing is your thing (their paper is like butter!) or Stillman and Byrne if you want to combine writing/drawing/painting.
