I use this type of paper for small acrylic sketches and it's great. The paper may flex a little when your ink is very wet, but when it dries it becomes smooth. It's a good value compared to canvas or card stock if you only paint one picture a day for practice.

God! This is my favorite paper. I even try to keep drawing. This is great but crazy! The only thing I regret is that there are few such sheets in each notebook. I pre-paint here before taking the canvas. I can then work on our shape, colors, etc. I love it!

I love these small blocks - not only for acrylic but for many other media. They're actually great for water-based markers if you use a brush and water to mix the ink. They also work great with Inktense pencils and watercolor pencils (especially if you paint over them with white paint, turning them into beautiful gouache-like pastels). I really like this paper because it allows me to work with paint without spending money on canvas. I'm an aspiring artist so I was thrilled when I discovered these pads. I can feel the colors and use them in practice. If the picture turned out great, they can be framed.

This paper is great. I really like the square format and it's good for small pieces. I haven't had a major issue with paper curling from water, but it's also fairly thick paper so it holds up well when flattened. It's a really good size to take with you on the go if you want to do an outdoor painting or something like that.

I have purchased these items before from several Bick & Mortar stores that offer 50% off a full price item. They're not exactly "50%" cheaper, but the convenience of shipping makes it worth it to me. Also, I've never seen these 6" x 6" Strathmore Acrylics and am glad I found this size here at Revain. with Micron pens for doodles and drawings. They don't absorb micro-ink as quickly as other drawing papers, and yet the ink fills well without the need for multiple strokes of the pen. (Please click
