The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

The earlier model HE B1 has served for many years without problems. I hope it will be the same with this one. I was glad that I got a new revision with a wall mount. You don't have to farm.

Pros
  • Upgrade after RT-AC66U
Cons
  • So far, I have not managed to find it except for the rise in the price tag after recent events.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

After my quietly dying rt-n16, which even WiFi could not really distribute and hung regularly, as if it had flown into space, I also raised the speed of the provider to 300mb / s. So far, most of the functionality remains to be explored, but the main task is performed stably and without problems, after purchasing and setting it up, I have never approached it for several months. By WiFi 5GHz from the phone 236mb / s to receive and 216mb / s return. Often friends come, with a large number of…

Pros
  • Work stability. Ease of setup. Rich functionality
Cons
  • You can not attach it to the wall, I had to make a small shelf, but this is more of a minor inconvenience than a drawback.

Expectations were not met, average quality.

I have been using the router for almost a year now. I was pleased with the very rich functionality, frequent firmware ates and the ability to install custom firmware Merlin, well, 5GHz communication is just an airplane, in kopeck piece I almost everywhere pull the full 200mbs from the provider. At the same time, there are big problems. The 2.4GHz network breaks no further than my old D-link, which cost 2 times cheaper. The 2.4 network itself periodically freezes or even falls off due to…

Pros
  • Functionality, firmware, 5GHz connection quality, 3 year warranty.
Cons
  • It gets very hot, relatively low range and noise immunity of the 2.4GHz network, the price of the router is clearly too high.

Different pros: 5GHz band, powerful transmitter, USB3.0, you can transfer settings from the previous ASUS router Its cons: When the traffic monitoring service is enabled, it freezes once a week, but when it is disabled, everything is ok. Mounting on the wall only with antennas up or on one side.

The product is very low quality, not what you need at all.

The router has one plus, it works, but the additional functions for which it was bought do not work. And before buying, I asked for advice from ASUS support, where they advised me this particular model as the best. 1. The router does not support large disks, it works with a 1TB disk, but if you connect, for example, 4TB, the router does not want to work with it, if you try to format it in the router's web interface, it cuts off a small piece from the disk and works with it, but the rest of the…

Pros
  • Works
Cons
  • The declared functions for which the money was paid do not work.

I have been using the router for about 3 years. Quite satisfied. If it were not for the hang, then in general the norms. Everything was like this until I saw and tried to set up a simple Keenetic Start router (KN-1110). I was very pleased with the convenience of working with it, ease of configuration, the ability to install packages with the required services. As a result, I have already picked up a replacement for ASUS RT-AC66U B1, it will be a Wi-Fi router Keenetic Viva (KN-1910).

Pros
  • Rich settings. It is possible to raise a VPN server, and do port forwarding, and melted to access the Internet (parental control), and there is real-time network monitoring, and restrictions on ports. In general, a lot of things. As a result of the possibilities for optimizing the load on the network, it allows you to connect the minimum tariff from the provider. Comfortable.
Cons
  • 1-2 times a month goes into an unconscious state. More precisely, it doesn’t even hang - then the wi-fi network will disappear, then it’s not possible to connect via the web to the router. Reboot with the button saves. Firmware ates arrive regularly, but everything hangs just as stably. Considering that about a dozen services have been raised on the home network that require remote access to from the Internet, this is annoying. Moreover, the 5GHz wi-fi network is rather weak, the 2.4GHz signal is clearly more powerful.

I bought it as a replacement for my rt-n66u, which had worked for me for 10 years without any complaints, but apparently the vaunted quality of Asus had ended, or maybe I was so unlucky - everything seems to work, even the configuration file of the old router was considered new without problems, but from time to time time, connection to the Internet is lost because the router loses the default route, it simply disappears from the routing table. It is cured by re-applying the WAN port setting…

Pros
  • Easy to set up, good signal strength, functionality
Cons
  • Not work stability

POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD

I have another router exactly the same. Good router, I've been using it for about 3 years. I ordered this one to have both routers work together. I connected it and made the necessary settings. Within an hour, a newly purchased refurbished router was so hot I thought it was going to catch fire. Another router I've had for years barely felt warm. I wouldn't believe this in my house as the device could start a fire.

Pros
  • This Certified Refurbished product was remanufactured at the factory with little or no signs of wear, and includes all original accessories and a 90-day warranty.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent signal strength

Easy to set up and in your existing home network to use, highly recommended. The ASUS setup utilities were intuitive and powerful, making my entire switching experience a breeze.

Pros
  • Enjoy ASUSWRT Dashboard UI in 3 steps Easy setup, signal monitoring and management of network applications, download wizard for wireless storage and access USB drives connected to router
Cons

Excellent router. Highly recommended.

I like that this is a dual band router with Mimo directional capability. I bought a refurbished device and I am very satisfied with the quality. The user interface is excellent. I control it via an app on my phone. I put it on a kitchen cabinet in the middle of my house. It offers 4 to 5 bars on my 2,000 square meters. ft. The signal is quite strong and still offers 1 trace to a neighbor's house which is 100 meters away from you.

Pros
  • ASUS i Cloud Service: Access, stream, share, sync - all on the go with unlimited storage expansion!
Cons
  • Some issues
