Yes, these are not shoes for children aged 4-8 years.

When I bought it, the description was completely wrong. It was an infant size 3 and not for my 6 year old as listed. At least we all laughed about it and returning it was easy.

Pros
  • Incredibly durable, this shoe is built to withstand the rigors of active play. The boys' Stride Rite 360 Carson Sports Running Shoe features a durable rubber outsole that provides exceptional traction and durability.
Cons
  • these are children's shoes

For babies, not for toddlers

I ordered the 3.5m size thinking it would be for older children (because the description says they are 4-8 years old). These are children's shoes and a size 3.5 doesn't even fit my 15 month old.

Pros
  • The Carson Stride Rite 360 sports running shoe for boys offers unparalleled comfort and support. The shoe features a memory foam sockliner that adapts to the shape of your child's foot, providing excellent cushioning and support.
Cons
  • Walks very little and it was very difficult for me to stand on my 13 month old legs. Wears 5 in all other shoes.

Hard to wear in my opinion

I've loved every Stride-Rite shoe I've ever bought except this one. Because of the high top, they are very difficult to put on my son's feet.

Pros
  • Super cute shoe but not really for thicker feet. I had to send these shoes back.
Cons
  • The same size as the size 4 shoes we own. Bought because my toddler is 4-5 but they didn't work

Too small ...!! - my new rating

Super cute but runs too small. My son has other Step Rites in the same size that he can still wear but they are now too tight. We spent $20 on them so he could only wear them for two weeks.

Pros
  • Great shoes
Cons
  • I received a mismatched pair of shoes :(. Returned.

Easy for beginners in these flexible sole running shoes.

We think this brand is good for little feet. Removable leg panels are a plus, making the shoe appear slightly larger. The bungee laces work great with the Velcro strap to allow for adjustment. Well thought out product!

Pros
  • Perfect fit, easy to put on and my son loves to walk in it!
Cons
  • Uncomfortable, not suitable for fat feet.

Nice shoes, runs small

I really like the Stride Rite shoes but I think this one runs a bit small. It's a little difficult to get it on her foot and that's not the case with the other size 6 shoes she has. I recently pulled out the insole to see if a wider fit would help (sort of?) and was pleasantly surprised to see that it actually has a size guide, which is a nice touch.

Pros
  • Memory foam insoles
Cons
  • Damaged

Not as described Complete

Ordered for 4 years. old grandson. The description says 4-8 years old children. When I first received the shoes there was only one shoe and it was only about 3 inches long! Of course, no child between the ages of 4 and 8 would wear shoes that small. It looked like children's shoes. I had to go back and am afraid to order again as there is no way of knowing what I can get!

Pros
  • Washable materials
Cons
  • Some minor items

Too small even compared to other shoes from the same brand

It was half a size larger (5.5) compared to my daughter's current shoes (narrow but fitting for socks at 5) and I couldn't even put any pressure on her - she started crying and we stopped. Even the sole removed for a wider fit and still narrow/small. It's 4 days outside the return window (bought anticipating an early review). Just annoyed. Interested in an exchange for 6 or 6.5. My daughter has fat feet (even shards work for us) but we buy ones that have the ability to remove the sole. I have…

Pros
  • Dual fit system with removable toe sockliner
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
