Nice set of pottery and ceramic tools

I still use them and have had them for about a year now. They are so versatile and can be used on a variety of clay items. I especially like the rubber smoothing tool at the end of the medium sized ball. Use it very often. I recommend.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Quality tools

I use them for paper crafts and card making. This is definitely not intentional! I've also used these tools with clay and they work well. They are of good quality - nice strong heads. I've had cheaper ones with ball seams, which is pretty awful. They are a good weight which helps reduce the pressure needed to get the job done.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Not recommended for polymer clay

Metal ends are great, but rubber ends aren't so good. They had an odd, harsh seam mark that didn't lend itself well to blending. I thought Sculpey would have better tools since their company uses polymer clay. I rarely, if ever, use mixer tools. Just buy a set of ball tools and mixer. I would not recommend this set even if YouTubers like Ace of Clay use them.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Sculpey Style & Detail Tools

Anyone who has worked with clay knows that the smallest detail can leave unwanted dents or lines on your sculpture. And if you've ever worked with Sculpey clay while trying to sculpt little dolls, this is especially true. I bought these tools because they were made by Sculpey and if anyone knows Sculpey clay, Sculpey should. This is the only part of the tool I will be using. The rest of the tool is pretty flimsy. The handle is plastic and has a seam that will mark your clay if you try to use it

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
