Temperature control can be used. I have a lot of fine hair and it only gets HOT, for people with finer hair a little less heat could be used. Other than that, it's GREAT!

I have type 3A hair (naturally curly, coarse and thick) cut pixie style. I usually wear my hair straight and blow-dry it with 2 round brushes of different sizes. As my roots are very curly I need a smaller flat iron to get to the roots as my hair is short. I tried using regular size but it's too big to reach my roots. I'm obsessed with this iron and it's the perfect size. It is ideal for travel or everyday use. The actual plates are the same size as a regular size iron. I live in Florida where the humidity is year round and this flat iron keeps my hair tangle free all day. It also doesn't give me terrible split ends. I can't wait to try the curling iron and Stylecraft blow dryer.

I have very fine hair which is perfect for me. So far so good, the temperature is ok, not as hot as I thought it would be, but it's ok, my daughter uses it very easily too.

I liked being able to take it with me when I was away on business. Extremely compact, easy to use, and the hotels I stay at on business have hair dryers but no straighteners.

Perfect size for travel. I use it to curl my hair and it does it so much better than a full size straightener! I use it almost every day. I haven't used it to straighten my hair as I prefer my wavy/curly ones. Although I would definitely recommend it!

I love this straightener. Because of the size, it is convenient to use. My only complaint is that the description makes it appear that the heat level is adjustable, which is not the case. You turn it on and it gets hot, that's all. So be sure to test before use. It works well enough for me. I really love everything else about it. Works best on small sections of hair at a time.
