🔍 Genuine Subaru 15208AA15A Oil Filter: Optimal Performance for your Subaru Review

I thought they should be included but they weren't but I bought these filters anyway as they were the best price at the time. I also bought these from another seller in 2019 which was a bit cheaper and included spacers but they are out now. It's such a cheap detail, but an important one; There is no reason why they should not be included.

Installed on my 2006 Outback XT Ltd as it is about ⅓ larger than the stock filter. Installs easily, hasn't caused any problems or checked engine lights and doesn't hang far enough to snag anything. There should be a little more filter material in it to keep the oil cleaner for longer.

Ideal for filter platform and bolt-on attachment and requires minimal hand tightening. Don't over tighten (there are some good YouTube videos explaining this). Decent price, delivered quickly and intact/sealed packaging. Will buy again for next oil change. [Update: I've used them on multiple oil changes with no problems, except sometimes they're difficult to loosen/remove at the end of a cycle. Otherwise definitely a trustworthy product for your soobs.]

Marked as a genuine Subaru part. I'm surprised my mechanic told me it was defective and said it was "leaking a lot of oil". Luckily he gave me a new one for free.
