One of the easiest parts to forget about, but if you have a turbocharged engine, don't do it! The PCV became clogged and the Perrin "exhaust" valve stuck on my son's WRX, causing a series of problems culminating in a turbine failure.

About 100,000 miles on my WRX, that has never changed. Glad I did, the original tubes were stiff/brittle. The valve wasn't stuck, but it didn't move as freely as it did when new. It probably could have been bought a little cheaper if you'd just bought more, but the new hoses made installation easier.

Ideal for 2004 Forester XT. Painful to replace but it is correct and will last a long time. Don't try to replace just the metal valve as the plastic will likely break if you try to remove it. Get that and you've got all new hoses and a new valve.

Fits my 05 Saab 92x aero. It was actually very easy to install, but you have to remove the intercooler and hoses attached. As well as some other hoses nearby. I did this while replacing all the coolant and vacuum lines, so it took a while to get everything done. If you are only making this hose, it can be very cumbersome for just one hose.

I didn't like the fact that the tablet inside, which had to flow freely to work properly for ventilation, wasn't loose like a new one should be. I can honestly say it wasn't much better than my original which I replaced. I didn't have to spray WD/40 to make the tablet move more freely. I would not recommend anyone to buy what I bought. I'm seriously considering never ordering from Amazon again.

My 2005 Legacy GT station wagon often stalls when depressing the clutch pedal - extremely dangerous when moving. I had higher than usual oil consumption and found that the PCV valve was original in the car, which was confirmed by checking the service history. The car no longer stalls at a red light or when the clutch is pressed, for example to downshift. The car now consumes oil a little more slowly.
