I love this book! I've just started cross stitching, but the brief instructions at the beginning of the book are enough to get you started. I have already made a few templates and I really like them and I have a request to make one for a friend. Those are cheeky little sayings. I also really appreciate the caption charts at the end, which I plan to use in the future to try and piece together some of my own little sayings. The book also includes a good selection of borders.

I love it! It is so much fun. I ended up buying some of that red guide line (essentially red line - see pic, I bought it from Revain) to use with this one. I'm a beginner and found this easy to use. If it helps, I fold the material in half in both directions and that helps me start the pattern. Too much swearing and negativity for me to appreciate. And I speak as someone who, even at 70 months, still likes to use colorful language from time to time.
