Works great on my broken subwoofer.

So far (1 day) I love this little amp. I had a 4 ohm, 150 watt, 12 inch Infinity powered subwoofer that failed. I've tried to fix it multiple times. I decided to buy this device to control the subwoofer myself. receiver, this device is highly tuned to different frequencies and power levels. I have the feeling that you can reach even lower frequencies with your subwoofer than with the original amplifier. I am very impressed. I have my home theater back! The board in this has the same part number

love these products! Can't understand bad reviews?

I love these little 300w amps! Lots of power in a small package. I use a 1200W 12" subwoofer for my home theater system. It will power a pair of 8" or 10" subwoofers with 1 amp as long as they are not too powerful from the speakers. It's been 1 year with the first 2 amps and just got another one due to a little overkill.

Not powerful at all

Works well as an amplifier for regular speakers but I wouldn't use it as a subwoofer. I hooked it up to a 50w 4 ohm shaker and this amp will turn off if you try to turn it on too hard. Sometimes it works fine for a few minutes and then shuts down randomly. When this happens, both the amp and converter go ice cold to keep them from overheating. In addition, the power supply only has an output of around 150 watts, which means it cannot even deliver half of the advertised watts.

Pros
  • Excellent overall quality
Cons
  • Minus present

Hits above your weight and hits well below the belt

I'm a bass player and the latest amplification trend is tiny amps for loud live electric bass playing. These little amps are suited to the harsh environment of bass playing and I think they're even better suited to HT applications. This works smoothly and well by placing an old large 18" Carvin woofer in the far corner of our HT setup in a large (low ceiling) room. There is good volume; I run it at a volume level of between 11 and 1 and it matches our preference for medium to medium volume for…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • awkward
