This is the perfect solution for getting the steps out of the way and taking up little space when folded. It's taller than typical steps and perfect for reaching tall kitchen cabinets. I love how easy this stool folds up. I can slide it into a small space next to the fridge for storage. It's very strong and so far I haven't had any concerns about stability.

Very light weight with integrated transport handle. Be careful not to bend it with your fingers in the handle. Folds down to less than 2 inches thick. Ideal to be set aside until needed. The step is 18 inches high, making it suitable for most people without a ladder. Strong enough for a 200lb person. PROS: - Opens in a snap. WARNING: Be careful not to put your fingers between the folds. There is a high risk of crushing. - The stool is stable and although the sides feel wobbly, the stool does not fold while I am standing on it. - Has a built-in handle. - Folds completely flat. CONS: - The side panels don't snap into place and this is where I caught my finger.

I bought this to use as a portable shower seat when traveling although that is not among the uses advertised. Cannot stand in the hotel shower due to some physical limitations. It worked well, was light yet strong, fit well in the car with other luggage, was easy to open and fold and put aside when not needed by others in the shower. I thought it would be easy to use but it's really terrible and I'm not happy with it at all. He's tall as advertised, but at the top he's so small that only one foot can rest really comfortably on him and he doesn't feel secure. This is perfect if you're looking for a chair to sit on, which is likely to be easy to leave in the car as a jump seat or similar, but isn't stable enough to stand on. Today I tried it and I was worried. It doesn't seem to snap into the sides and was very light. I said "What the hell" and did it. The light on my washer and dryer was out for two weeks and I was trying not to pull out my heavy step stool. Had my phone handy in case I fell and it worked like a charm! It's needed to reach the tall shelves in the garage where I store things and it does a great job of that. It's taller than most plastic step stools so you can reach higher. I weigh about 170 pounds and feel pretty good because it supports my weight. But if I were about 200 years old (and it wasn't that long ago) I would be a little more concerned. This is the perfect ladder for my kitchen. I just need to be a bit taller to reach the top of the cabinet or the top of the fridge. That's great!
