Magnet won't keep door closed, we tried different angles and positions along the door It's just a cheap piece of crap and you can do a lot better.

I bought this magnetic latch to replace a broken latch in my expensive stereo receiver/electronics cabinet that I've had for 15 years had long. . This is a strong latch that will easily hold a 20" wide, 48" high, and 1/4" thick tempered glass door. The push and release mechanism works better than the original clasp. I'm sure this latch will stand up to many newer devices. Changes and regular use.

This latch has been criticized in some reviews for not having enough holding power, but it works well for light applications.
