Bought to replace lamps in a house we just bought. I have used Feit brand LED conversions purchased through Costco in the past and have been blown away by the ease of installation and quality. These units are set up for a 5" can and can be 'fitted' into a 6" configuration, but they do not fit exactly like the original Feit brand cans or LEDs. This ceiling light is a replacement for an 830 lumen/75 watt light fitting, which is the ideal amount of light for lights on 8 ft. ceilings. I tried replacement 1100 lumen/120 watt downlights but they were too bright and glaring. For 9ft ceilings, 120 watts of light is enough, but for 8ft ceilings it is much more powerful and causes glare. I like 3000K temperature. Overall I like these lights. They are easy to install and give off a nice bright light. Works great with a dimmer and does not flicker at low levels. I have old 6 inch cans that I have replaced, they are about 17 years old. The inside of the cans is smooth and when I tried to install just the spring mechanisms they all sagged. Disappointing. I found the solution after some trial and error. First, I wrapped tape around the end of each spring (where they meet the glass). This alone worked better,

Bought 12 sets of modified LED lights from Sunco Lighting. Installed them in our kitchen and they look great. Pros: - Very easy installation - Great view - The light quality is excellent. (We chose 4000K Cool White for our kitchen. Cons: - Within 4 days of installation 2 of the 9 installed stopped working. We had 3 extra and I replaced the ones that didn't work with new ones. I bought these lights to replace standard kitchen and laundry room fixtures. I was amazed at how bright they are. The old headlights were warm white and I bought LED daytime running lights. The bulbs themselves are quite bright (maybe even too bright at 4000K) and screwed in easily. My problem was more with the springs. Almost every replacement flashlight has the same design. My glasses have 4 slots that were probably meant to hold another insert with screws that went into those slots. The ends of the spring are stuck.
