It took me a while to find the right color.

I've tried 3000K and 2700K with and without the dimmer and we think 2700K is the color for the home. We have a shade of brown for the carpet and walls (gray is not popular today) and a warmer color works best. The devices work great. I've had a variety of glass styles and this unit fits them all. We have sloping ceilings in most of the rooms and I bought them for the swivel feature. They work great.

Reliable overview of body and trim kits

Installed on a vaulted ceiling. In the rest of my house I have modified 6" and 4" Sylvania LED 3000k. They are definitely lighter and whiter, but not blue. Very good. Springs are definitely more difficult to install than others. But there is a simple solution: pre-bend, hold for a few seconds and release, which makes installation easier. Also, it looks 100X better than the eyeball gimbal. I would use them if I knew they existed before Sylvania.

Good lighting for the price, easy to install and very very bright - recommended dimmers

. I am renovating our house and am using Sunco gimbal lighting (5000K kitchen / 2700K living room). The company is based in the US but manufactures in China. I like them and the installation is very easy. Both are very bright and illuminate the room well. I used LED dimmers to adjust the lighting to my liking. Not all dimmers work well with certain light sources, but Sunco provides recommendations on the packaging. I followed her advice on dimmers and am very satisfied. I've also used thin…

Looks good but check the springs before installing

This works well in the space we wanted it for. Ask the manufacturer to create a 3500K version. Neutral white light 3500K is the best light for most applications. 2700K is good for sleepy places like the bedroom. 5000K is good for photography but totally unsuitable for other purposes. 3000K is well suited for transitional areas such as hallways, entryways or bathrooms. 3500K is best for general active space. Lots of glare: Recessed

The light from this fixture itself is good, but it's not a recessed light and you get a lot of glare. A good way to use can lights is to place short-necked PAR30 lights, where the bulb is set two inches into the ceiling and isn't visible until you're almost below it (and you're not usually looking straight up , so you can't actually see it).
