Good price and quality

This thing works and at an amazing price compared to other brands. I was honestly surprised at the quality for the price. I could never have done the job without him!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not bad

Works great for tools and equipment

I'm glad I have a percussion gun for this. The ball joints were really rusty on the "A" frames but the tool did a great job. It shows little wear from constant hits with the gun. I'm very glad I used the tool to get the ball joints out.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Not sure

Very good quality, withstands heavy loads.

Upper ball joint rusted. That ball joint socket and a real break bar made it easy to remove the old one. Note that I used a true 4 foot extension. This socket can easily be held by two people by pulling on the breaker to loosen the old top ball joint.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Poor manual

It works, but be careful.

Tool Fits Chrysler and Other Ball Joints - Very Tight. However, the nature of the socket design tends to slip. Make sure the ball joint is completely free of anything attached to it with the castle nut, THEN loosen it. It can slip, but it works when used with shades. Much cheaper than Chrysler's instrumental version, which they charge hundreds for. Get these instead.

Critical for removing Dodge ball joints.

This is a special socket for vintage Dodge vans/trucks. It is only used to remove or install the upper ball joints at the front of the van. I have 98 B3500. Without them, it is almost impossible to remove the ball joint. It is very well made, beautiful and heavy. Using a 1/2" ratchet and 2" break bar, we were able to easily remove ball joints that hadn't been touched in 17 years. Probably a one time use unless you work on a lot of Dodge vehicles. A great conversation piece due to the custom…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Did the job for ball joint and tie rod tools

Used this to successfully remove the upper ball joint from a 1998 Dodge B3500. If you are removing the control arm, I highly recommend removing the ball joint first so you can use the weight of the car to hold the control arm in place. I was able to do this with a 1/2" jumper and [[ASIN:B000NPPCKU 1/2 - 3/4"]. I couldn't get enough leverage alone with a broken link and had to add 4ft of tubing to get enough torque.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Clarity
