Sunex 112TX Torx Screwdriver 2Piece Review

Set of 2 torx drivers. The feeling in the hands is good. Haven't had a chance to use them but I have a full set of matching Sunex standard and Phillips screwdrivers that I've used and they're amazing. The build, fit and finish of these torx drivers are identical and I will update them if there are any issues but I don't expect them.

Advantages: 1. The handle is very comfortable.2. The metal of the tips looks well made and good quality (a bit heavy for the size).3. Just the size I needed to remove my TJ.4 Jeep's steering wheel cover. I like the coating on the tip to help them "bite".5. The packaging was what you would expect from two screwdrivers. Cons: 1. Can't find it, a bit more expensive than I expected but I like that it's a small set and I don't have to buy a big set so I think it's a cheap price.

torx is becoming more common what it deserves love the socket. Although I use an impact wrench for almost everything. especially with soft wood it always hurts to drive it almost sitting up and then hand tighten a half turn to make sure you aren't at the tip of the strip. If the material can withstand the stress, I use an impactor. Nice grip, not round so you can get some torque without slipping in your hand. nice rubber material.

Screwdrivers have comfortable rubberized grips, they are easy to hold and use. I have Torx bits of the same size in a huge box of specialty bits, but it's much nicer to have a really solid screwdriver with the right bit in place. These are finely crafted, sharp and beautiful instruments. If you need them, you really need them and cannot use other tips. I used one of the two to get to the fuse in the microwave. They're really good - Sunex have proven time and time again that they're a reliable brand that makes really quality tools! It is important to note that this is not a regular or Philips screwdriver set. It's also a standalone set that you can't resize. They're good for pressure when needed, since screwdrivers aren't made up of parts. If you know you will be using these specific sizes a lot and you need to press hard on the screws, this is a good buy for you. This is my first experience with Sunex tools and they seem pretty good so far. The two-piece set (T15/T20) contains Torx screwdrivers in two common sizes and is relatively easy to use. You have a little more grip with them. (I don't like transparent smooth hard plastic handles that much) The size is clearly marked on the end of the handle.
