Excellent Quality - Sport

I recently bought an old used bike that needed brakes. This kit was easy to install, good quality and now my bike stops quickly with no noise. So happy.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Poor cable quality, good for cycling

First, the quality of the cable is poor. I contacted them for an extra cable. Not understood. The front cable was damaged and I had to fix it to make it work. The installation was fine.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Mostly Tectro clones, but remember this trick

, if you unscrew the cable clamp on the caliper far enough, you will see that there is a hole in the screw through which you must push the cable, this greatly simplifies installation and adjustment. I wish the levers were a bit longer, but honestly at $30 I can't complain.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good value for money, shoes are a little stiff for a kid's bike

I would like more comfortable shoes as the shoes that come with them are a bit stiff, especially for a kid's bike. Overall easy to install, I'm sure the cable is long enough to reach the cruiser. I had to shorten mine for my daughter's 16 inch bike. The reach is adjustable for small hands, which is nice, but it may require a longer screw (M4) than the included set screw. Basically I am satisfied with the product.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive

Worthy value for sports

In fact, the product is three and a half stars. Metal parts - 5 stars, brake pads - 2 stars. That. Soon replaced the original pads. The best pads will stop the bike twice as fast as the cheap pads that come with the kit. So don't wait too long to swap. Very impressed with how well the metal parts hold up, especially as these are long arms.

  • New

Good price for parts and components

I just installed a front brake on my beach cruiser and it works fine, it wants to rub on my size 24 tires but sits pretty low. I don't know about 26's and 29's, maybe I should look elsewhere. I used the rear brake line up front as it's long enough for my hangers. The front brake line, rear crank and rear brake pads were unused. . Not bad quality for size 24 and smaller tires, I really don't have high hopes for size 26 tires.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • the list will be long.

Easy stop solution

I used the front brake as part of my wife's e-bike conversion - the front wheel of her 20" folding bike had a Sturmey Archer drum brake, but the Swytch wheel I replaced did , she had instead motor. Since there are no eyelets for V-brakes or cantilever brakes and no mount for a disc caliper, I went with the side-pull caliper solution as there is a hole in the top of the fork that is only used as a caliper fender mount and deflector. The caliper is installed and reaches the fender fairly quickly…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Not bad

Very surprised at the quality of

Due to the low price, I was expecting cheap, flimsy rim brakes that you find on $50 kid bikes that can bend if you squeeze the brake lever too hard. I was surprised that the brakes are actually quite good quality. They will serve as a good substitute for the average driver. They are of better quality than the brakes found on any new department store bike with rim brakes. Not as good as the $25-$50 brakes, but they do their job and seem pretty solid. This kit includes front and rear brake…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Only available in white

Don't do it best in cycling

Ordered for my daughter's bike. Your foot brakes wore out the rear wheel in a week. Decided to put real brakes. This thing is a huge pain in the ass to conform to. The caliper worked fine for the front brake but didn't reach the rear rim. It was offset half an inch, I tried everything, even put it on the back of the rear frame but it still didn't work. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work on an adult bike when it can't even reach the rims of a kid's bike. The company had to provide several
