I used these handlebars to get my hybrid commuter bike ready for long trips. Before these bars, I had a searing pain between my shoulders and had to lower the seatpost all the way down, resulting in more knee flexion. Before that I bought a corner clamp that raised the handlebars 1" giving me a total of 6" of travel. Hooray, I can ride my bike again. I'm buying a 2004 Cannondale F600 (and a 2005 Cannondale F600). 17 years and 40 kilos later I could no longer drive it. My back, wrist and buttocks will hurt.
