Will not work in Ott-Lite bulb

This bulb could be good but I can't test it because it doesn't fit in my Ott-Lite. Lamp. The pins and base are the right size, but there are two small ridges on the base that prevent me from fully inserting the lamp.

Good bulb, bright enough.

I ordered three for our work kitchen. The first set lasted almost 2 years, which seems a bit shorter for CFLs. The low price of the bulb somehow makes up for the short lifespan, but maybe I just got crappy bulbs. I would recommend as long as the price is low.

A good lamp lasted about 7300 hours I think. Certainly not 10,000 hours as they claim.

Good lamp. I bought it on 12/07/2013. He just burned out. This is with external lighting, which averages 6 hours a day. So by my calculations it took about 7300 hours. Not 10,000 as they seem to advertise. But I don't think bad given its exposure to the heat of summer and the deadly cold of winter. Just ordered another one. At some point I will switch to LED. But right now it's easier to just swap in a different lightbulb.
