A Must-Have for Cyclists

This chain breaker is a game-changer for anyone who is serious about cycling. It's compact and easy to use, making chain maintenance a breeze. The durable construction ensures that it will last through many bike repairs. The only downside is that it may not work as well on thicker chains, but overall, it's a great tool to have in your Sports and Outdoors kit.

Pros
  • Easy to use and efficient at breaking chains.
Cons
  • May require considerable force to operate, potentially causing discomfort or injury to the user's hand.

Make sure you work in an organized space.

Very simple, insert the chain into the slot, hold the black handle, twist the top with two black ends like a vise. The little pin will come out and push the pin out of the chain, and voila, your chain is open. Then you press as many links as you need, append the main link and you're done! Just make sure you are in a place where you can keep track of where the parts/details are going. I've lost the needle forever. But that's my fault, not the tools. Fiction!

I was looking for an inexpensive tool to shorten two of my bike chains. For this price I didn't expect much. I took some pins and it worked. The black end caps on the spinning rod kept coming off and I eventually took the handle out and used a screwdriver for more power. When I was done, I noticed that the two metal notches in the center of the tool that might help hold the chain were badly bent. I tried using it again and once it came off completely. In general, it's fine if you use it once or
