The lampshade consists of three parts and is almost impossible to assemble.

The base of the lamp itself is very easy to assemble in under ten minutes but the lampshade is in three parts and took over 30 minutes to complete. I never thought the lampshade would need assembly and after 30 minutes of fighting it looks a bit worn. It also doesn't have 3 levels of lighting, only on and off. Too much trouble with disassembly, so I leave the lamp.

Not "dimmable " but still a nice lamp

We bought this lamp for our child's room thinking it would actually be dimmable but it only has 3 light modes and they are all brighter than we are had expected. Easy to assemble and looks great (love the switch - it's at an accessible height from a seated position) BUT we're only giving 3 stars because we wanted it to be really dimmable. We'll probably save it for another part of the house but are disappointed that it's not quite as advertised.

Great price, easy assembly, CHEAPER lampshade

Great lamp. Good size for a small bedroom. Three different brightness levels with a normal light bulb. I love the options and shades of lighting options available. I can choose depending on the time of day. I have sensitive eyes so this is a good option. I like the color of the lamp. More like muted gold. I gave 4 stars because the included lampshade is so cheap and ugly. This makes the lamp really cheap. However, I changed the lampshade and now the lamp looks very nice.

Key Concerns Suitable for lighting and ceiling fans

Parts that need to be screwed together are overmolded so that none of the parts fit together properly. In addition, the base does not screw into the post, even with the help of tools and several people, the threads of the screws do not match. In its current form, the lamp base is only partially screwed into the bracket and is not very strong. However, customer service was very quick to reach and offered assistance in resolving the issue. I have given up on a new lamp since doing this work and…

Beautiful and durable lamp.

Beautiful and durable lamp. The quality and workmanship of this lamp is excellent. It's easy to assemble; after unpacking and reading the instructions, assembly only took about 20 minutes. The lamp is great for a bedside table or any other table that you don't want to clutter up with a table lamp. Although the lampshade hangs to the side, the surprisingly heavy base makes the lamp feel very stable. I was worried it might tip over easily when I ordered it, but that wouldn't be a problem. There are tricks that help with assembly

I had trouble connecting all the parts until I used WD40. It makes it easier. The base would not align properly until I did so with the base on the ground and the rest of the lamp on the base connection. The color choice was very difficult for me. What worked for me was to shape the shadow with small Velcro strips and then connect the structure to the circle inside on a flat surface. That said, the latches worked as intended.
