Fails after 3 days

Easy to set up and install Schedule a 30 minute defrost cycle every 12 hours. pressed the button to ensure that the defrost heater is on. Press again to return to compressor run mode and the compressor will run. everything worked fine for 3 days, the compressor turned on and off normally. Then after 3 days I noticed the fridge and freezer were heating up, turned the thermostat down and back to the 38 degree setting, the timer clicked either way past that point, but the compressor wasn't working

Works great in thermometers and timers

This item works great. For those who have used this electronic defrost timer and seem to be "stuck in the defrost cycle", you need to ensure that your refrigerator provides a "permanent" neutral from the defrost heater circuit. Some refrigerators will interrupt the neutral supply to the defrost timer "motor" (switch on the evaporator coil) when the evaporator temperature sensor reaches sufficient "heat". This puts this block (according to its instructions if you read them) into a constant cycle

Read the instructions carefully!

I purchased this timer and returned it because it did not go through the defrost cycle. The new block did the same until I carefully read a sentence in the instructions that came with the block. "If the UET is in a defrost cycle when power is lost, the defrost cycle will restart when power is restored." I bought this unit to fix a fairly new under the counter unit to prevent the expensive electromechanical defrost timer from exceeding the defrost cycle. The wiring diagram for this fridge of…

Will work great if the design is right

Crappy design, maybe it will fit some fridges but for my Frigidaire mini fridge the mini fridge is obviously too complicated for this, this is the second one I've bought, which is faulty The damn relay in the "high reliability" circuit goes into some sort of dumb oscillation SOMETIMES during the defrost cycle, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for the entire defrost cycle, it's absolutely awful for the reasons given below; They are designed to run during the refrigeration cycle, the…
