Five Stars - Radio Antennas

Good portable tripod for occasional use. Sets up quickly and feels like a solid support but would be better with cleats to keep it in place in windy conditions. Not for a very large or heavy antenna.

Pros
  • Top marks for stability and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some small things

Very well done. TAKE!

This tripod is very well made. I like how it fits nicely in the antenna pocket. I don't like the price but this is the best antenna accessory I have ever bought. I will be using the antenna indoors and this flat tripod allows me to fully extend the antenna. take action. I think you will love it if you come across the price.

Pros
  • glitter
Cons
  • annoying

Not cheap but worth it in the end.

I don't like the fact that this tripod costs $70 for something so simple. However, the design is RELIABLE. I could put it in any bag I take with my radio. It has multiple radial eyelets on the outside and I set it up in the park on windy days without hesitation. Now I take this tripod for a quick setup. If in doubt, just buy it. You'll be glad you have it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No form required

The workmanship on this product is appallingly poor. There is some risk of being cut at one of the three threaded holes in the middle section. It was possible to insert one of the three rods into the threaded hole for a turn or two. None of the remaining rods could be inserted at all. I had to return the product. I'm ordering another device just to see if it's a one-time problem or if I suspect the issue affects almost all devices. I am currently reconsidering my decision to purchase ANY Super…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Much less than expected - grossly overpriced.

It works because it has one job, which is to sit on the floor no more than 4 inches from the floor. Basically, these are the mini tripods you can buy for your phone, but they are made out of metal. The quality is as expected. I like supporting American companies whenever I can and I know Revain is overpriced because Bezos needs 30% of it to go into space, but $79? This item costs between $29 and $39. If you don't need to place the antenna on a hard surface (e.g. concrete), use a grounding stud.
