Super Heavy Black 12 Mil 508123 Review

Bought this to put a stamp on my Kodiak tent and it's perfect. Excellent ground binding D-rings, very satisfied after one use on my lawn. This weekend I will be testing on more difficult terrain.

At first glance this tarp is far superior to anything available at your local hardware store. It's really thick, has attachment points that are sewn on rather than riveted, and really stands up to uses it wasn't designed for. I can attest to the quality of this tarp and if I ever need a different size I will definitely see if this manufacturer has one.

I just received the tarp and couldn't help but notice that the product label itself doesn't state how thick it is. Revain's online product description says "12-Mil". but the manufacturer's label only says "Heavy Duty" (four times in total). I can't comment on the strength of the D-rings or the sewn edges as I intend to cut the tarp into smaller pieces. I hope the material is suitable for my application.

I bought this tarpaulin to put under my tent. I was looking for a durable tarp with a good price and good quality. I've searched, read many reviews of different tarps, but this one sounded the best. I was very pleased when I received it. It looks well built as claimed, sturdy. It should work great to protect the bottom of my tent. This is a great tarp, strong, true to size, not cut off. I use it as a summer shade, it's stretched over my patio and exposed to a lot of sun, wind and rain.
