More than enough for a short bed F150

Good quality. It's enough to redesign the cap of my F150 with a 5.5 inch bed. I attached mine very close to the outer edge and used the excess to cut into short strips. I used short strips every foot or so perpendicular to the new seal, being careful not to overlap. The addition of short straps increased the stability of the canopy. Overall very happy with the product and how it turned out.

Seems to work fine - don't know how to use seam tape

Seems to work but I bought sealer because it was too tight. I didn't realize it until I put my camper shell back on the truck. There is at least 1 inch of space unsupported by the gasket. Joint sealant application instructions should be developed. The company knows this because most of the YouTube videos showing this product show it.

  • Easy install

Prep for parts

Very easy installation but be careful when cutting the V notches on the corners as you want them to be as square as possible and not fold too much. And prepare the surface as best as possible. My old gasket had completely flattened out over the years so I used a heat gun to heat up the old glue and it popped up right away. Just don't leave the gun in one place for too long and work with 12" sections at a time. Preparation is key to ensure the new gasket seats properly. I may end up switching to

Great purchase - just what I need

Worked great on my small dome. Very easy to install and long enough. It comes with alcohol wipes for wiping down the canopy rails and the adhesive appears to be very strong. As soon as you start putting it down gently, it will start to grab. Once you start, there's not much you can do to customize it. Follow the instructions to cut the corners and everything will be perfect. Thick and durable, with two ribs for maximum protection. All cracks on my car closed. Some water will still come through…

Fits perfectly on my Honda Ridgeline blank cap

Fits perfectly on my Honda Ridgeline blank cap. The width was perfect and it looked the same as the factory seal but with better adhesion than the factory seal. It was easy to install once the cover was removed from the truck and folded onto the lawn. Careful cleaning and preparation allowed the seal to stick. Although the adhesive isn't 3M, it seems strong enough to withstand a pull once firmly attached and rolled down. There is enough flexibility to bend the front of the lid without breaking…

a few wood chisels, some diligence and a good rubbing alcohol

I just reinstalled my EMPTY cover on a 2015 Tacoma that I bought to replace a 2010 Tacoma. I REALLY wanted to save a few bucks, so I kept the lid on. Removing the OLD seal was a bit of a chore, but with my son's help, a few wood chisels, a little diligence, and a good rub with alcohol, MOST of the seal's adhesive came off, which didn't matter because the old seal had two about 1 cm wide sealing strips and this new one has a strip about 2.5 cm wide so there was good overlap and coverage where…
