I used it to install a faucet that was supposed to be connected directly at the level of the sink. (It doesn't have easy-to-attach hoses.) The wrench has a spring-loaded jaw, and the jaw itself pivots from the shank to one side or the other. If you want to tighten, twist it one way and if you want to loosen it, twist it the other way. The design is simple and very effective. If you need to install a faucet that doesn't come with short hoses and don't need to turn a wrench at a weird, awkwardβ¦
