When I plug in the audio jack and turn off the music, the light still dances with the room sounds. When you plug it in, the external microphone should be muted. Mine doesn't. If you turn off the potentiometer, the mic still hears the noise and dances with the load noise. I connected the connection to WIFI but couldn't get it to work. The board works great.

I use music effects a lot. I had to use a stereo high to low line converter so I could use it in stereo, but the effect is amazing. Much better than it listens to. There is no delay with audio beats in effects. I also added a headphone volume slider to be able to control sensitivity. When you connect audio to this controller, there is none. The only adjustment concerns the microphone. Works perfectly!

This device is identical to the Wet Sounds LED Controller. Wet Sounds costs $129.99. I bought a Wet Sounds controller and this unit to compare. They are completely identical: the Wet Sounds device has an emblem printed on it, and instead of a white remote control, it has a black one. The functionality is identical. I thought that this thing died on arrival. Didn't respond to remote input and the LEDs were just red. I connected the 3mm audio input from the lighting controller to the RCA input on my amp. I have a horrible loading hum throughout the sound system. I had to remove.
