Good wheels: wheels and accessories

Just put on the bike and did my first club ride, no complaints, they feel and look better, great wheels for the price. Update after 500 km a spoke broke, luckily I was close to home. The second spoke upgrade broke, now I have doubts about the durability of the spokes.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No instructions

Worth every penny. for wheels

This review probably needs an update due to the low price but until then I have to say I really like these tyres. They hold up well on my morning commute, look great and the bike is noticeably lighter. If you are looking for a cheap carbon wheelset this is it as retailers are charging over $300 per wheel.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Not trendy

Build time 4 months - wheels and accessories

Well, I found this Windsor 3.0, Wellington, at a pawn shop about four months ago. I restored it mainly with Chinese parts. I bought this frame for $200. I invested almost $1500 in this bike and am happy with the result. I'll give an update on the wheels later when I've got more miles on them. But so far a great bike, great price compared to other bikes.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The wheels are good but the pads are rubbish

The wheels are definitely nice. Gaskets are garbage! The stop was awful and they left marks on the wheels, you can see the gray on the wheels, not only did they make a horribly loud noise when I stopped. There will be part 2 when I change the pads. Part 2: I change the pads, somehow stop. So if you ever buy those wheels, don't use pads there, buy your own👍🏼

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Looks and feels AWESOME - Cycling

07/15/2020- Beautifully packaged, installation went smoothly. The freewheel is quite noisy, but smooth-running. The valve extenders that come with them are junk so be sure to get some 80mm hoses with valves. The first ride went great and I definitely feel a big difference with my Mavic aluminum wheels. You can feel the crosswind much more, but that doesn't bother me much. Will post updates as I earn more miles. Photo: @base653photo

SUPER WHEELS! - Sport

I have an old aluminum frame Motobecane 7005 bike which is actually quite light. It's been fitted with lower AlexRims aluminum rims, which are surprisingly good. But I wanted to improve the "look" of my bike. The Superteam bikes were packed very well, they are very light and very strong in my opinion. They have fitted this model with 28cm tires and provided a comfortable ride. They also look very sharp! I'm really surprised how you get my steering wheel for the price.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good rims at a good price

I have these rims on a Giant Delfy Advanced so now my whole bike is carbon. These rims are well built and come with everything you need to fit the wheelset to your bike. You'll need a new cartridge, or I suppose you could use an old one. In my case, I completely redid the gearbox except for the rear derailleur. They come with a spacer for those looking to install the 10 speed cassette I use. The threaded bushings on it are probably not the best, but they work fine. The build quality is sold and

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some flaws

I will update this review as I earn miles on them. I was quite skeptical at first about buying these as my first pair of carbon tires. Read each review of this wheelset carefully before making your decision and diving into sourcing. 0 miles - Shipping was pretty quick (6 days) and it arrived in pristine condition. The packaging was sufficient. Thoroughly tested discs and braking surface out of the box. Nothing wrong. The rims were spot on, maybe 1mm, but no big deal. Also included was a set of…
