🦈 Superwinch Tiger Shark 12V Winch: Aluminum Hawse, Synthetic Rope - 9500 lb. Load Capacity Review

I've had this winch for about six months now. I have used it several times to pull trees in my garden. Pros: It did everything I asked it to do, was easy to install, seems to run faster than other winches in its price range, winches are more than enough for my jeep. It got wet a few times and continues to work well. I bought an extra Superwinch cover and it looks good too. Cons: Sheaves of Warn don't think I'm cool.

I spent about 3 hours installing this thing and a regular piece of gravel almost cracked the motor/solenoid housing. Very disappointed with the durability. Winch work seemed fine but I'm skeptical about relying on it for any cargo after seeing how easily the hull was destroyed. I would like to get permission from customer service when they are available. 4 stars approx. I spoke to Martin from customer service. He was very helpful and they will replace the broken case at no extra charge.

Update 01/17/19. winch is cool! Done as it should. Up to 5 stars. Installed Supervinch today. I was concerned when it arrived as the box was badly damaged but all the parts were there and the winch worked perfectly. I liked the build quality and the installation guide is adequate. I would recommend watching a youtube video on installation if you have never installed a winch before. I give it 4 stars right away because I haven't used it in the field yet. Great product so far. Update: This winch is a monster. I've used it and abused it and it just keeps going. I couldn't get out of the mud or pick up the rocks. I bought it for work, I cut down trees, dismantled buildings and did the usual tasks of medium complexity. The only thing I noticed is that it needs a work-rest cycle, but once it cools down a bit it's ready to use again without any problems. Also, Superwinch has pretty good customer service. Looks like a solid winch. Haven't used it yet, but installation went smoothly. All accessories and cables were in the box. I already had a bumper to mount the winch to, so it probably took me 45 minutes to attach the bolts and run the wires. The control box was damaged during transport. Supervinch answered the call after three rings, real person, no automated systems. This winch is bigger than I expected, it runs quietly and smoothly, the winch is very strong, I actually got my line 8ft off the hook when first time I used it, I noticed the new cord had a few friezes before I used it so that was the point of the week.
