Pair of Front Hood Gas Struts Springs for Porsche Panamera 970 (2010-2016) Review

Doesn't look like Porsche OE quality, but it works just the same. Very easy to install. The old ones fall out and these are used.

I installed them on my 2011 Panamera Turbo. The dampers are strong and look almost exactly like the stock ones. The service items work as expected and it looks/feels like a quality replacement.

Good price and works well. All you have to do is loosen the top bracket on the hood. Since my factory plastic bushings were in good condition, I did not change them. This is how the lower parts look authentic. Just slide them and secure the top again.

Bought a set and put it in the box thinking it would be difficult, tried it after 2 weeks, it took a whole 10 minutes to swap both. Easier than expected and now the hood actually lifts properly and stays upright. Great purchase, Porsche Service Center charged $300 for the same job.
