Garbage, short climb. Bad landing.

Doesn't fit my 2004 Yukon XL. Damn, don't buy it. Short elevator. Poor fit, cardan came loose and shattered rear window. Returned!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Too long for a car.

The system said it was suitable for the car I specified. This didn't happen as he was a few centimeters longer. RE: 2005 GMC Yukon XL 1500.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I will add later

Strong travel but weak clamps

This IS as advertised although it is approximately 2 inches longer than the OEM shocks. It simply pushes most of the shaft into the cylinder. 4 stars because the clamps that attach them to the tailgate are easily deformed, they are not made of the strong spring steel like OEM clamps and are not interchangeable. 2006 GMC Yukon XL Denali.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

Great fit 2005 Yukon Denali

3 stars for durability - I've ordered them twice - the first set lasted about 3.75 years. Admittedly I use it as a work truck and the tailgate is used heavily for loading and unloading tools, but the standard trucks lasted 2004-2017, the aftermarket first set 2017-2021. - Now I'm ordering another set of the same from Buy Again. I'm fine at 4 years old. of them and 5-minute installation. Someone mentioned that folding isn't for the faint of heart, you don't have to fold them to install them, soโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in niche

  • Not bad

fits Suburban z71 '06

Made in China, they fit, they work (5 degrees Fahrenheit) 2006 Suburban Z71 full kit plus easy push mounting hinge, 23-1 /2" actual length center pivot when open (block slightly longer), 7.5" stroke, 15" barrel (body) fully covers the shaft when closed. Who knows how long they'll last? Three previous attempts by another manufacturer. but they worked exactly for this model - the power feels and acts as it seems right. Satisfied with them at the time of installation. Of course I would like toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • I won't tell

Doesn't fit in my area. Measure before you buy

The description says this prop will fit my 2006 Suburban, but when fully compressed it is too long to close the sunroof. After researching this for longer than I wanted, I found that this model is listed as the second design that has a compressed length of 16.43 inches. My Suburban requires a non-second version of the design, which has a compressed length of 14.29 inches. Both designs have the same uncompressed length of 23.9 inches. An easy way to determine which design you need is to measureโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
