Charming kettle! I was looking for something unique. I'm very picky and very glad I chose it! Very high-quality workmanship, the handle does not heat up. Easy to pour, easy to wash. When it "whistles," it's more like a horn, but loud enough to get your attention. It will also be a great gift!

I had a great cow tea kettle. But eventually it had too much rust inside for me to get rid of. I bought this. My only complaint is that the giraffe's neck is too close to the top of the lid for easy removal. The handle is too small to be picked up easily. So that makes it a bit difficult. Others are right, the whistle isn't very loud, but I can hear it simmering most of the time. All in all a good product and very sweet on my plate.

I really like this zebra teapot. It looks great on my black stove top and goes well with the salt and pepper shaker I also bought. My only negatives are that the teapot is almost identical in person to the giraffe teapot, with a long neck and camel face, but with zebra coloring; and the fact that it doesn't actually whistle but honks like a car horn! It's really loud! When I first used my kettle and it started to "whistle" I thought that some really rude person outside was honking their car…
