Nice, great to have a fresh new look

Well built, a direct replacement for my 1979 GMC Nu-Wa RV. I'm reworking the roof anyways so I thought why not get a fresh new looking rack. Perfect fit, perfect finish.

  • Heavy and bulky - The Surco 501R Universal Motorhome Rack is quite large and takes up a lot of space on the motorhome. It is also quite heavy, which makes it difficult for some people to handle on their own

Comestic Value for my opinion

The construction and material of the motorhome rack is very good. However the universal size of the rack is small on a large class A motorhome. Length and width should be increased by almost 12 inches. Price was good.

  • Difficult to install - Installing the rack can be quite complicated, and many customers have complained about getting stuck while putting it together. It also takes a long time to install, which can be irritating for people who are in a hurry to get on the road
