For several days I tried to position and point the Yagi antenna in the direction of 4 known cellphone towers in a rural mountainous area. I installed it. Could get a brief amplified cell signal for a few minutes but then they went away. I ended up having to send it back.

installed immediately upon receipt and regretted the purchase almost as quickly. Strangely, I don't get so much an upgrade as a streak. I usually have 2 plus signal strips and this extension closes contrary to reviews. I previously bought another one and didn't return it, but this one will be returned asap.

Sometimes I have to be a foot away from the phone to get its signal, but then they hold the signal and work at a great distance. In other cases, phones will pick up a signal at a distance of 20 to 30 feet. In the summer I usually got 1 bar. this increased it to full bars, the signal changed from 118 to 76, the lower the number the better the service.

This product has been a lifesaver for our family. We live in a very rural part of Pennsylvania and cell service (all companies) has very poor signal strength. Now it's much easier for me to make and receive calls, send photos and text messages. And phone communication is 3-5 bars everywhere in my house. I even have a steel roof. It was easy to set up and works for all carriers.

Wouldn't bother with this product. I wouldn't give stars if that was an option. We had the exact coordinates of the nearest cell tower to our home and using a compass we installed a roof booster on a 10 foot pole! At least 20 feet off the ground, above the tree line and aimed squarely at the tower, it had absolutely no impact on our ability to make/take calls. Don't waste money.
