I have a very small desk and the thin design definitely helps. This gives good screen quality when I use an HDMI cable. Overall I'm happy with the adapter and will be able to give more feedback in a few weeks when I get a chance to use other connectors.

I've been looking for a way to expand the available ports on my Surface Pro 7 for almost ever since I got it. Using the Microsoft Dock works well but is not portable. I've tried other products, most of which weren't wearable either. This device connects easily and DOES NOT interfere with tablets. I can only recommend that. It costs money. Buy it.

It took me a long time to realize that it was this accessory and not my Surface Pro that was limiting my maximum resolution to external monitors. It seems that with this port block you can only increase the resolution to 1920x1080 - not a very useful resolution for ultra-wide/4k monitors. All other ports are working fine and there is no problem with full usage of all ports at the same time.

I think it looks cheap and doesn't match the well-designed and great-looking Surface PRO 7. It has an annoying glossy black lid that attracts fingerprints and always looks dirty. . There's also a fuzzy white label printed on it, which of course wasn't necessary. Why do I need a magnifying glass to read manuals from this country? Only to find that the information is too simple to be of any use?

For what it was supposed to do, it worked. However, the product is cheaply made, the USB3 connector felt sharp at the mating edge, and also didn't want to easily hit the surface of the Pro 7. The connectors on the device don't stay connected like cables do when you unplug it. I ended up getting cables to connect the device to the Surface Pro so at least I know the device is working as advertised. Would I recommend this product, no. Bite the bullet and get the recommended dock.

Post COVID I needed different hubs to keep up to date at work. The first one I ordered overheated badly and died. I've ordered the next one and it seems well built. So far, the last two weeks, everything is holding up. I haven't checked the transfer rate closely, but it transfers pretty quickly. Lately I mainly use it for screen extension, USB connection and microSD connection. It works well with all these features, I hope this review is in the future. But for the price, this is a great Surface
