Susan Bates 2 Inch Silvalume Crochet Knitting & Crochet Review

I bought this for a very bulky yarn project and it comes out great! I'm surprised how easy it is to hold because I usually crochet with silicone handles and this one is really comfortable too!

I really like these hooks - I've ordered two more sizes and have a full set of smaller sizes. Bamboo handles make things easier for my hands and I seem to get less tired using them. For me, Susan Bates hooks are my go-to choice for my crochet projects. Although I also have a set of Boye hooks, I still seem to be drawn to Bates hooks first.

I have several Susan Bates Bamboo hooks and they are my favorites! They have such a smooth feel that I like. I have just received a size M hook and while the packaging was not defective or damaged, the handle of the hook appears to have missed the final step of the finishing process. Looks sanded and not painted. You can see the top hook with finished handle and the bottom hook (the hook just shipped) is not smooth or finished.
