The box was open so my hook was sticking out of the box. It also came with a chip. The stem is also shorter than my old Sally Bates hook. On closer inspection, it turned out that the chips on the shaft from the manufacturer were to blame. I give 4 stars for the fast delivery

Finally! Shorter shank hook (length between hook and finger holder). For some reason I find it much easier to use a hook with a shorter shank. I do not know why. I dropped the one I was using and have to wait for it to work, it went through the cushions onto the floor so I could pick it up. If I do that, I have a backup. Just in case I can order more.

Fast delivery. I love working with aluminum hooks as they go in and out of my crochet smoothly. This stamp is similar to the ones I already have and H 5mm is clearly stamped in the handle of the hook. The hook itself is deep enough to hold the middle yarn without severing the thread when I thread it. I am very happy with my purchase.
