Not strong enough. Cannot be used for an intended memorial service. When you put your hand/fingers on the edge to hold the panel. it is too weak. May only be suitable for biscuits or for VERY light meals. Disappointing because we tried to be good stewards and used compostable material. The square size was a good idea. it just didn't work for our needs.

Bought these plates to serve desserts at the holiday table. The size was perfect. I could fit a large piece of cake and ice cream on a plate with a little more. They were incredibly durable and could withstand melted ice. They are just as durable as Chinet, but more environmentally friendly. While I wish they were a little cheaper, I think the cost is due to their environmental claims. I would buy them again and recommend them anytime!

They are excellent and just as durable if not more durable than any other paper plate. There aren't many lips around the edges, it's best to be careful when using them. They're very good for cat food and anything that doesn't slip - or if you don't move - like, uhh. any food you can nail to it. Seriously, I would buy these cane plates again, but between square and round, I will continue to buy round ones.
