The heart rate monitor is not accurate

I bought this watch because of the heart rate function but even after visiting the manufacturer site and following all the advice on wearing the watch and warming up etc. the heart rate is still everywhere and mainly monitoring wrist rotation rate. The faster I move my forearm, the higher the heart rate > The most frustrating thing is that even if I take the watch off, the heart rate readings are still on the screen. If I shake the watch in the air, I can get up to 150 beats per minute. So I

Great for running/biking, frustrating in the water

This great looking watch was purchased as an upgrade to a Spartan Sport that was purchased exactly a year ago. I was hoping that the Suunto 9 would continue to perform like the Spartan, plus a little more battery life. I'm really disappointed with the accuracy of the open water swim training. Even in performance mode, distance and pace indicators were far from reality. I've tried repairing, updating, recalibrating and still no improvement. I still have a Spartan Sport and a Polar Vantage V, so…

Great watch for sports lovers.

I just bought this watch from Revain. I tested it on the go to verify accuracy. It is suitable for any type of training. It has many training modes to keep track. HRM doesn't seem too accurate compared to GARMIN models. It showed my heart rate about 10-15 beats per minute higher than my actual one.
