This set is very attractive in the picture. Looks very solid and high quality. That's why I ordered it. When I received and removed the packaging, the first thing that struck me was that it was actually made in China. But what made me want to return to this set were the edges of the lids and handles. They are dangerously sharp, like the edge of a pair of scissors. I do not recommend this set.

This is a really good set for the money. I gave it 3 stars because after 2 years of use the handles on the dial covers cracked and fell apart from being washed in the dishwasher. I bought this set in September 2015. In the last 5 years these pans have been used intensively on a daily basis. We are a family of 7 and in the last 6 months a number of parts have fallen apart. Handles for lids broke off on 3 out of 5, plastic came loose on 3 pots and the screws connecting the plastic to the handles were slightly rusted. The actual pot doesn't rust after all the abuse. I risked this product because of the manufacturer. I was amazed at the quality of the cookware when I bought it. It's heavy, well made and beautiful. Far beyond expectations. I also bought a couple of Cuisinart pans because I never have enough pans and there are always the same items in the set that I don't need.
