Update: I updated the HDMI cable and the noise is gone. When using inferior cables, the device seems to be sensitive. i really like it now I like the functionality and implementation, but I saw static on day one. This new USB/HDMI KVM Switch is great. I have 3 computers (2 servers and a workstation) that I switch between all day every day. I really appreciate being able to switch between these computers with a hotkey (Scrl-Lock Scrl-Lock #) instead of reaching for the KVM switch itself. The device worked perfectly for the first 2 months. Easy to set up and easy to use. But last week the HDMI input stopped switching. The USB inputs switched correctly, but the HDMI output only showed the first HDMI input. I contacted the seller (via Revain) and he helped me exchange the unit very quickly. I bought this switch to replace an old VGA KVM switch that I connected to an HDMI switch. I needed to add a third device, so I looked for a new switch. Note that this switch doesn't include audio jacks, so I left my speakers connected to my main computer and used headphones for the other two. For me, that's not a deal killer.
