I am fortunate to have my brakes overhauled every few years and a tool like this is required for rear calipers on most cars. The adapter is double-sided with contacts arranged differently on each side. This is a cheap and simple device that works great. If you don't use it every day I wouldn't pay more for something better. It's just wonderful!

Required for my two piston calipers on my Polaris. I really had to figure out how to make it work for me since it's made for a slightly wider caliper. Since it uses a standard 3/8" adapter, I just found a 3/8" drive head that fits my pistons and off I went racing. Easy to use and the screw runs smoothly. Great tool that I'm sure to add to my box.

The delivery was fast and the packaging was pretty good. If you make your own brakes then this is a tool that is definitely a must have and will make braking 10x easier. This is for your rear brakes that have a screw in piston. Not sure why I saw another review saying it works better than a clamp. I've done a lot of brake work over the years and normally just push back the piston in the caliper with the brake shoe by hand. There's usually some difficulty getting it back in and I've always run the risk of pushing the plunger back in crookedly. The lugs on the end of the pushrod piston help center the pushrod on the piston and hold the piston back straight, and the hand crank makes it easy to rotate the piston back.
