The 8 drive bay worked fine with 6 of my drives attached: 10TB, 8TB, 2x 6TB and 2x 4TB. This is without a doubt the most unreliable and disappointing product I have ever used. It will run for hours and then go into spastic episodes where it will just turn off all drives and reset everything without warning. I've tried it on several computers and it will work for a short time but then go into those reset loops. Restarting the computer doesn't help.
