I wanted to please, but it doesn't work. First off, the screen quality is poor and pixelated. When the screen is so small, it needs to be at least somewhat clear for the image to be seen. I've had this player for almost 2 years now and I really like it. Bought for long trips and flights and used weekly for fun in the car ever since. We use the headrest in the car but often take it with us to restaurants and the like. We threw it in a diaper bag and it's a bit worn but still ticks great! Very dissatisfied with this product and more upset with myself for allowing a 30 day break that I can't return it. I read a lot of reviews and sadly decided I would give it a try anyway. Like other reviewers before me, I had many of the same issues. I will note that the audio in the player is low, but I thought that's because you need to consider it nearby. I think it's really better suited for kids. It's not a bad car but mine was scratched so I'm considering returning it. Pros: 1. The picture quality on the screen is pretty good2. The accessories are quite good (the headphones turned out surprisingly well, and the sound was much better than using the built-in speakers. I think they're designed with low power so parents don't get bogged down with kid's programs they can test nerves with of the time. So in this case this might be perfect for some.

I think this is probably the best portable DVD player I have today. I bought it in anticipation of my long trip from Florida to New York and back to Florida. We received this yesterday and it works! We bought it because the 6-disc CD/DVD changer in our van no longer works and we are traveling with the kids.
