They've been sitting on my desk for a long time. Eventually I put them on and I see no difference between them and the old normal Sylvania I took out. I am attaching 4 photos, 2 before replacement and 2 with new bulbs. I personally see no difference.

Don't waste your money! To be honest I can't tell this bulb apart from standard halogen bulbs. They may be a little lighter, but not whiter at all! Sylvania claims they look like HID. They look like they are around 4300K. I was expecting a 5000K view (although the color temperature isn't listed anywhere). I will send these back. I'm open to suggestions for 5000K halogen bulbs.

He said he would use them but probably won't see much of a difference. Luckily he was wrong. ten years. Factory bulbs are very weak. These headlights are definitely brighter - and more useful - with an extra "throw" around the track. It definitely came in handy when it was raining on the freeway - it's a long, rainy "winter" in Los Angeles.

Maybe I expected too much, or maybe I got an inferior device. Anyway, I wasn't impressed. I replaced the stock headlight bulbs on a 2015 Jeep Patriot. Sylvania installs fairly easily and fits perfectly. However, I see very little difference in lighting compared to the OEM bulbs I replaced. I tried all possible driving scenarios at night. In some cases the OEM bulbs seemed to be better. I will wait a few days. But now these lamps are probably making a comeback.

These bulbs are significantly brighter and whiter than the original bulbs. Don't expect a "blue hidden" color from them. The bulbs that give you that "blue" light are actually giving you less light (unless you upgrade to HID or LED bulbs) due to the thick layer of blue paint on the bulbs. Let's hope they last a while. DE2018 update. The second one failed so I put my OEM bulb back in (it came with Saab in 2004). I don't waste money over and over again on something that reliably fails. They provided good lighting but only lasted 1 year and 5 months. I've never had a headlight bulb go out that quickly (except for an old sealed bean that was hit by a rock and showed no damage). These bulbs will NOT work as advertised. The light output is yellow. The photo speaks for itself. I really like these headlights. Installed on a Mercedes W204 I agree with the advert saying they exude a bit more "attitude" than stock headlights. The most important thing is that they shine whiter than the standard headlights. So if you have other headlights up front (in my case there are smaller headlights above the main headlights) you can swap them out so you don't have to. color deviations.
