RUSTING AFTER ONE MONTH!

I picked it up today to use on my diving trip for the first time and it already has corrosion! Yes, I live in Hawaii where it's humid, but that's no excuse. DO NOT BUY!

Chunky sheath, but a very sharp knife.

I have not used the knife yet but it came as expected. Most likely it will rust since it is cheap stainless steel. However, for my use it's fine as long as it remains usable, and at $13 I can't fault the metal used here. The sheath is very bulky and quite heavy with a knife. Definitely recommend tying it on your calves or thighs rather than your arm.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • There are some nuances

The safety mechanism is broken, it easily falls out of the straps!

WOW, got it and was SO excited, this knife looks good, very sharp, it falls out with little to no pressure. The fit is very poor, anything but secure/reliable. I wouldn't want to rely on that as a security feature. The knife falls out of the sheath as soon as you jump into the water! PAY MORE MONEY, YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT!

Does what it's supposed to do with a little style

This is my second knife and it does what a dive knife is supposed to do, cut and protect against rust. If you buy this knife, treat it with wd-40 before each dive and it won't rust. This applies to every dive knife. I only use them during our July holidays, they are in the closet the rest of the year, so the ratio of cheap price and best quality was pleasant. Would definitely recommend for snorkelers like me.

  • Definitely a bad product

Solid, crisp and affordable

I was skeptical based on the mixed reviews but for $12 I said why not and gave it a try. The knife is durable, very sharp, comes with a hard sheath and straps big enough to wrap around my legs. Keep in mind that at 6ft 1in and a weight of 260lbs I'm a solid man so a lot of the 'standard' stuff just doesn't suit me. I saw complaints about the scabbard and lock so I held it upside down and shook it vigorously. as I could and the knife never fell out, but the release button is so smooth I can only

Good product for the price

Bought for a 50 mile youth canoe trip. We had at least 1 knife in each boat. It turned out that young people - even 12-year-olds - could easily take a knife out and put it back in its sheath. During regular "Knives!" at training races, the young man pulled out knives within seconds. Luckily we only used them during lunch but we're glad we had them in case of any problems. It easily cuts through 3 inch thick rope. On the swing, one of the knives fell into the river. The children lined up at the…

Good knife, mediocre sheath.

The knife looks solid enough, the handle is comfortable, the light yellow handle is clearly visible. The hook at the back hem is a nice feature. . A few moderate shakes when holding it and the knife falls out instantly. The whole point of carrying a knife on your arm or leg is having it there in case you need it in an emergency. If you think the knife will fall out, the less likely you are to carry it. Dive knife and sheath must be complete and function as a unit. I gave it a star for "easy to…

Nice sharp knife.

I was looking for a craft knife and found this one. I like that it has a strong sheath that will hold the knife until the button is pressed. This reduces the chance of losing the knife. The handle is designed for diving, so it won't get wet or dirty. It comes with elastics to attach it to your leg if you are skinny :) or your arm or whatever. The cutting edge of the saw is very sharp and good for sheds. He has a guard to keep his fingers on his hand, which I like. There's no lanyard hole, but…
