The metal is too thin. As you can see in the video, the handle connection is solid but so flimsy that it flexes. It is unlikely to last very long.

Beautifully designed glass lid with a hole - if you don't like the hole, plug it with a stopper - the copper base heats up quickly and evenly whilst the riveted handle refuses to heat - never need an oven mitt . Great buy at $18.74.

First of all, the pan is not a heavy pan for continuous cooking in my opinion. I bought this pot to use on a one person 800w induction cooktop. That said it's a great pot, I can use it to heat things up, cook a little, make sauce etc. Unless you need to be all fancy I think it's a very affordable and practical choice for a 3rd person is liter pot that works on an induction cooktop or hob. I don't like non-stick pots and/or pans at all. That's why I prefer to only use cast iron, enamelled cast iron or stainless steel. The size and quality are very good. I used pot wash oil and there weren't many black spots. Thanks for the pot, I may have thrown away my old non-stick sauce pan that was damaged. For those unfamiliar with cleaning instructions, before using any stainless steel product, especially in the kitchen, it must first be rinsed with oil.
