🎵 T12 MM MC Turntable Phono RIAA Preamp Preamplifier with built-in Headphone Amplifier Review

Wanted to use one of my turntables exclusively with headphones. I tried it with my rega rp3 and audio technica atlp120. I've also tried this with several headphones including the Grado SR225. The headphone output lacked bass and was severely distorted when set at a reasonable listening volume. Went back to Amazon, it was useless for my purpose.

This preamp works great at this price point. I carry vinyl with me all these years and haven't heard it in 25 years. Sold my turntable back when the CDs came out. Now that vinyl has become popular, a few weeks ago I bought an old Technics turntable and my new Pioneer receiver that doesn't have a phone line-in. I recently bought this preamp for my Yamaha PF-800 turntable with a moving coil cartridge (which I pulled from a junkyard in the city junkyard) and was very pleased to get a preamp that can play the MC cartridge.
