🍯 Tablecraft 1 X Sugar Dispenser Review

This sugar dispenser is well designed, plain and simple. (Manual transmission. No power steering, now power windows, no air conditioning and no DVD player) But everything it was intended to do, it does very well. The only downside I find is the UPC code that is affixed to the bottom of the device and is difficult but not impossible to remove. Not negative enough to remove a 5 star review.

This dispenser didn't work for me because when I hold it over a hot drink to avoid spilling sugar the door clogs and the sugar in the dispenser starts clogging with moisture. You need to pour the sugar out of the cup and hope it doesn't spill for this dispenser to work properly. I wasted my money and went back to my bowl and spoon!

I bought one of them through a warehouse sale. There were a few dents on the metal cover. The metal is thin so removing the dents was very easy. For myself, I took a screwdriver and used the rounded end of the handle to pry out and massage the dents. Mine didn't have any scratches, but since it's metal you can probably buff it out with a rotary tool and metal polish if that bothers you. My mom really likes this sugar jar because it's the same one you find in takeaways.

This sugar bowl reminds me of old times. They're similar to those you might see at the lunch counter at Woolworth's or Wlagreens. It has a metal top with a small valve underneath that is a fill hole. The lower part is made of glass and can therefore be washed in the dishwasher. If the substance you want to pour has the consistency of sugar, then it will do.
