Not suitable for 2007 Honda Accord Coupe

Not for 2007 Honda Accord Coupe. It has a piece on the back that the original trunk latch does not have. Luckily my husband is a master craftsman as he just cut this piece off 🥰 It was still a big problem. It's supposed to fit my car. After he cut the part, it was easy to install.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Exorbitant Piggy Bank

Best for fixing a stuck latch in spares

Works great, quality maybe better than new. Stuck latch on 2nd gen Fit? It is your decision. I don't know why Revain would want me to rate this product as "easy to install". 1 star for that because it's not easy at all, but it's not because of the COMPONENT, it's because of the design of the whole sunroof assembly. The component is ideal for attachment points.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

2007 Honda Fit replacement

This was the perfect replacement for the rear sunroof on my daughter's 2007 Honda Fit. I followed the replacement procedure outlined in several YouTube videos. This is not the easiest thing to do yourself. I wouldn't recommend trying this unless you enjoy crafting. I came across some rusty screws on my daughter's car which made the project a little more difficult than the video shows. As for the part, it fit and worked perfectly and was significantly cheaper than other online stores.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other kits

Honda Fit in Power Door Lock 2010

Took some time to remove the old handle and install the new handle Over 45 minutes, removing the hood and plastic was a Challenge. Northeast winters take their toll on bare metal, and the salt somehow finds its way into the back compartment of this pen's mechanism. But after the replacement, it's day and night, the old handle had to be constantly put back in its original position to make it work (grease, grease, etc. didn't work). Replaced December 2019, checked July 2020 and still working…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not the best

Easy to install, great solution to passport latch problems

Used on a 10 year old 2010 passport with a rusty latch that would not open. Replacing the shutter itself is fairly easy, but you'll probably need to replace some of the retaining clips on the shutter cover panel (these will inevitably break as the car gets old), and it's a bit more expensive at the Honda dealer. You'll also need to remove the hatchback's interior trim and make sure those clips stay in the same place - colors mean something and they cost a few bucks a piece if you lose one…

Pros
  • Certified

  • Negative
